My first american football match!

In English: way to the final

Hi!
Two days ago I was on my first american football match! My big love to this sport began two weeks ago, so I’m fresh fan. Everything started with the theme camp (American Camp) at the seaside (but that is another story). Anyway I decided with my best friend (Magda), watch the game. Of course, in Poland it looks quiet amateurish (we haven’t got the big stadiums, and football is unfamiliar). Team from my city- Lowlanders BiaƂystok VS Tychy Falcons. We won 49 to 6! It was a great fun! I did some pics, so you can see how it looked.

The first pic after the entry

Team from my city. Waiting for the match

The end, and we're the winners
Finally, proof that I really was there :P

Touch - Jus Accardo [review]

Title: Touch (Denazen #1)
Author: Jus Accardo
Genre: YA, paranormal romance
Pages: 400
Publisher: Entangled Teen; Reprint edition (July 3, 2012)

When a strange boy tumbles down a river embankment and lands at her feet, seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie Deznee Cross snatches the opportunity to piss off her father by bringing the mysterious hottie with ice blue eyes home.
Except there’s something off with Kale. He wears her shoes in the shower, is overly fascinated with things like DVDs and vases, and acts like she’ll turn to dust if he touches her. It’s not until Dez’s father shows up, wielding a gun and knowing more about Kale than he should, that Dez realizes there’s more to this boy—and her father’s “law firm”—than she realized.
Kale has been a prisoner of Denazen Corporation—an organization devoted to collecting “special” kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons—his entire life. And, oh yeah, his touch? It kills. The two team up with a group of rogue Sixes hellbent on taking down Denazen before they’re caught and her father discovers the biggest secret of all. A secret Dez has spent her life keeping safe.
A secret Kale will kill to protect.

After reading this book, I realized that I haven't got too much to say about it. Cover, in the middle of the saved pages, just enough. But in the end I decided that there is something more! Plot is intriguing, but is oryginal? That's a good question. "Touch" reminds me of "Paranormalcy" by Kiersten White (in the dark version) and "Shatter Me" by Tahereh Mafi. Denazen organization is not good, even though ostensibly helps people. Father Denzee is like bully, he try to subdue everything. He hates insubordination and disobedience. At all time I hope that man, who caused so much evil, he will change. But it didn't happen. I become convinced that this book is very unpredictable. I get to like characters more than the plot. I realized that just putting a book back on the shelf. Deznee is incredibly created character. Strong, At all costs she wants to nark your father, a typical teenager... The girl is brave and resourceful. I can safely include she to my favorite main characters. We have Kale anymore. I love this character from the first scene with his participation. This boy has in yourself it "something". He never went to the cinema, never was at the sea. He was a prisoner in Denazen, so doesn't know how to be a really life. Denzee try explain him everything slowly and calmly. She wants so that he recognise all the things, which deprived him of organization over the years. But Kale by his unwittingness is  was incredibly funny and sweet.  Sincere. Yes. This is one of the best words which can describe he. He always  calls a spade a spade- it's propably feature of all men.

Organizations that have in their ranks people with supernatural powers are becoming more common in books. They protect people, care about their good and punish the bad. But Denazen is newness. With it all fighting. Sixes- people with gift- want freedom,  possibility to make their own choices. Apparently motives organizations are presented, its history and everything what the reader  needed. But when I thing about the role of Denazen, I feel unsatisfied. Why did people keep there is as prisoners? Why did they inject them  unknown substances? Above all, why father Denzee hasn't heart? May answers for some the puzzles I get in the next tome.

"If I had the ability to touch anyone else in this world, I still don't believe I'd want it to be anyone but you.”

We have traditionally love between the main characters. It is utterly understood. Deznee is the only person who Kale can touch. All others die on the spot. She is also the first person who introduced him to new life.Is not that a reason to feel something more? The girl is afraid that Kyle doesn't see difference between love and  gratefulness. But how will look the fate of the two characters, that I will not betray it.

The book is ideal for young people, teenager. The authoress has a specific language, but it is not difficult to reception. She uses a lot of slang words, but it adds a climate book.
To sum up. The plot of the book may not be the most original, but worthy of attention. The chracters are great create. In "Touch" is a lot of different personalities, everyone will find their favorite. History Deznee and Kale is incredibly addictive. I recommend!

Welcome to Gabocity !

Hi,
I'm Gabrysia, Gabi, Gabriela, if you prefer. I'm 16 years old  (yeah, sweet sixteen!) and I go to the high school in Poland. I’m little polish girl, because I’m 1,6 m. I set this blog, because I really wanna practice my English and it’s great fun! I’m a big dreamer, with great imagination. Full many strange and improbable ideas. Some people say that I’m crazy (and sometimes I agree with them). I’m open to new friends and even at school I’m quiet as  mouse, outside I can’t stop talking and laughing.
Optimist and  pessimist… calm and crazy… focused and thoughtful. I do everything the other way round. In everything bad and ugly I able to find a good site. Enough about me, because if you want to get to know me closer, feel free write to me :)
